The committee wanted to get the information out early so that you can SAVE THE DATES.
All three days of eating, beverages and socializing for only $50/person
($45 if payment is received before April 1, 2009).

The committee is working hard to bring you a fun-filled weekend at a reasonable cost.
(Don’t miss this one…remember it has been 15 years since the last one).

Following is the schedule of events (this is a work in progress):

7/31 Friday evening – an all class social at Charlie Palmer’s house on Butternut Ridge Rd. There will be food, beverage and a lot of conversation. The committee is considering opening this up to other Oberlin alumni (with a cover charge).

8/1 Saturday – The main event will be the class banquet: class photograph, socializing, dinner, beverages and music—all included in your registration fee. In the morning, Charlie Palmer is working on coordinating a golf outing for those that are interested (note: not included in your $50). Also on Saturday afternoon Roberta Broske is working on a winery visit / tasting (note: not included in your $50).

8/2 Sunday – a family style cookout at the New Russia Township Park and pavilion.

The class of 1979 will celebrate its 30th high school reunion the day after Thanksgiving: Friday, November 27, 2009.
We'd like to do a cluster-type reunion, with other classes around ours joining in on the celebration.
