… and here we go again!! We need to reestablish email links, to fill in the blanks, to find everyone … we need your help! I have moved to Columbus, but Buddy Hoffman and several eager volunteers are coordinating the Oberlin affairs. Reach out and touch someone … and bring them with you to Oberlin this summer. Here comes summer … and it’s the 45th since we last saw some of you. Join us - please plan on coming home for the weekend or longer if you can. We are excited about turning 45 and about seeing everyone again. The following plan is based on the end of evening consensus, as best remembered among the several of us enjoying the committee meetings at the Oberlin Inn pub; please join us for those, if you are able. If there are comments, additions, suggestions, or otherwise invaluable inputs, please forward along with your agreement to attend. Place: The Oberlin Inn Date: Saturday, July 29th Time: 6:00 cocktails, 7:00 dinner, and 12:00 pumpkins Cocktails, Dinner, and Dancing (?) all on the patio, weather permitting Buffet Choice: Chicken ______, Beef ______, Veggie Pasta ______ Cost: $25/ person or $45/ couple (same as before) Rooms: The Inn is holding 10 rooms @ $79/night until June 28th Be in touch, stay in touch, send in your check, please plan on coming home this summer. Oberlin High School Class of 1986 will be holding their 20th Class
Reunion August 4 - August 6, 2006. Greetings Everyone! This is an update to the OHS Class of 1986 Reunion. The Reunion will still take place August 4 & 5, 2006 however, we MAY have a change of location. Due to a lack of commitment to the reunion, we are thinking of moving the Class reunion from Oberlin Inn to Randy Domain's home in Amherst on Saturday, August 5, 2006. We have not been able to develop all the details yet but please stay tuned. We anticipate having the details by Friday, July 23, 2006. In addition, we may still need a donation from you of $10 - $15 per person to help cover the cost of food. We would still like to meet anyone who may be interested at Brewsters (bar at Oberlin Inn) on Friday, August 4 to meet and greet our former classmates. On Saturday, we may plan for a tour of the High School which will be followed by the reunion. Meanwhile, please keep in mind there will be many activities happening that weekend in Oberlin. The merchants downtown will be holding a sidewalk sale on Friday and Saturday. Then on Saturday will be a car show and family fun fair from 10 am to 4 p.m. So......please pass it on and we'll be in touch.
