Henk Hull of Holland: next AFS student at OHS

Hendrik (Henk) van’t Hull from Amsterdam, Holland, has been selected as the sixteenth AFS student to spend the year in Oberlin.  Henk, 18, will live with the Nathan A. Greenberg family 34 S. Cedar, and will attend Oberlin High School next year.

Henk is an avid outdoorsman and lists his favorite sports as boating and skating.  He

attended the Spinozalyceum in Amsterdam, a preparatory school for vocational training, and hopes to become an agricultural expert.

His family in Holland includes 3 brothers, ages 19, 15 and 10.  His father is president of the Dutch Social Security Organization.
Henk’s American “brother” will be David Greenberg, 16, a rising senior at OHS.  David attended a Dutch school in 1969-70 when the Greenbergs lived for a year in Belgium.  The Greenbergs have two daughters, Judy and Lisa, ages 12 and 8.  Mrs. Greenberg and Judy have departed for a holiday in Europe and plan to visit Henk while they are in Holland.

Henk, who will be the first AFS representative to Oberlin from Holland, will arrive in this country on Aug. 3 and is expected in Oberlin within a week of that time.
